Teen Adventure Trip

Teens aged 13-18

4EEE is offering another epic trip to “Death Valley” for Teens during Spring Break.

Open to all teens both east and west coast together and this year looks like everyone has the same week off. This has the potential for an interesting gathering of teens that do programs in the Pine Barrens and Teens that are in California to get together.

There are many possibilities of adventures in Death Valley—Similar to what Tom Brown used to call the Ultimate Course—meaning sky is the limit –it really depends on how much you want to push yourself. Death Valley has sand dunes, steep mountains, desert like areas, cotton wood canyons, and many expansive areas of wilderness.

We can go into survival trek, counter tracking -lost proofing-escape type scenarios, and have good old fun around a campfire sharing stories, night games, and of course eating good food. Maybe on the hunt for the different colored clays, finding unique stones, and seeing the ancient petroglyphs etched on the canyon walls.

This adventure trip is for teens, aged 13-18.

Arrival at Burton on Sunday, April 13th (3-5pm) - Pick up at Burton on Saturday, April 19th (4-5pm).*

Parents will drop-off and pick-up at the Burton Educational Preserve in Nevada City. Teens will travel with 4EEE staff south to Death Valley CA. We will travel south on Monday and return on Saturday.
