Jamie Coyle

Jamie Coyle is from Philadelphia, PA. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Vermont University and has been a certified Wilderness First Responder since 2007. While working towards his degree, Jamie completed a 16-credit internship with 4 Elements Earth Education. He has worked as a professional ski patroller, an Environmental Educator, a Public Gardens Coordinator and as a lead teacher of a nature-preschool class.
He joined the 4 Elements Earth Education team in 2013. Prior to this, he was a student of Tom Brown Jr.’s Tracker School since 2011 and continues this education to this day. Additionally, Jamie has taken many classes from various leaders in the Nature Connection field, such as Jon Young, Dan Gardoqui and many more. He is also active in the CyberTracker Evaluation system and has achieved a Track and Sign Level Two Certification from Cyber Tracker North America.
Jamie has worked children, family and teen wilderness programs with 4EEE from the East Coast to the West Coast of the US and even up into Alaska. Nowadays, he is most often found working to connect his Philadelphia community to the natural world via the inexhaustible avenues of nature connection, earth skills, and wildlife tracking. He enjoys nothing more than sharing time with people of all ages practicing these ways, and is constantly hoping to learn the many lessons the Earth has to teach us all.
